Trujillo Staycation!

This year after unsuccessfully trying to plan a trip to Lake Powell, my sis-in-law came up with the idea of doing a "staycation". One Sunday night planning and we were set for three days of fun. It really turned out to be so much fun for us to feel like we were vacationing but still getting to sleep in our own beds. The cousins had so much fun bonding and the adults did too! Sunday night: Chris and Chalehs for an outside projection movie, Smores, popcorn, treats and of course some football playin. Always some form of sports with the Trujillo family! Monday: up early for a delicious breakfast at The Pancake House then off for a little hike up to Ensign Peak. Next to the Gateway for an afternoon movie, 3-D G-Force gave me a headache but fun! Tuesday: Boating at Willard Bay with Mikes boat. A day of sun, near drowning, dead batteries, and paddle boats. A fun day in all, Mike would probably beg to differ! After a day at the beach, the adults all had a relaxing night going to dinner at Roosters and Jon Hydes reception for yummy dessert. Wednesday: Raging Waters! Way more fun that I had anticipated. Gabe was a wild man going down the kiddie slides and Emma, Olivia, Mia, and McKell were hardly seen playing in the kiddie area and walking across the lilypads. Isaac was a daredevil and went on almost every slide. Fun place for us to end our family staycation!
